Having troubles with baking the orc char , i have tried shrinking the char so it fits into the HP model to not avail, i have tried changing ray distance a lot of times and is not working and remeshing several times also have checked my normals and they are fine.
i leave 2 pictures one of my orc HP and anopther of the LP baked.
Check these issues …
First thing to correct. Normal map must be NonColour Data, nor sRGB
The map itself looks ok to me, but is the whole thing on it? No obvious head part.
thanks for the rsponses, i changed to non colour, i just added a new screenshot, it did improve a lot but not there quite yet i am afraid.
The black bits issue I am sure has been covered before if you search here or use the page FedPete linked to. Must be cavity map not normals issue.
Thank you very much for the rersponses, i was able to bake it with really good quality with the cage option, was a little downed because of the first results but well a little trial and error and was able to make it.
