Great sketch! Good job with the top-down perspective. I find perspective very difficult as I don’t practice it much. I hear you on trying to get better at sketching.
ZOMG, the helmet w/legs is hilarious! I love seeing how AI tries to make sense of something.
Haha - I love the stupidness / silliness of AI.
This is so funny, I’ve had the same ideas… but to late to change.
Needs more darkness. Then the ancient tech + wetness
Experimenting with volumetric shaders
New, tall ooze tank. Getting the hang of Booleans …

lol. Did you use Veo 3
free one, from leonardo.ai, tried others but they were changing the whole image
Nice job in 2 hours. Got a lot done.
Thanks to the New Array modifier in Blender 5 with the random functions!
Blender flame test
Start working on Blender project with my new system.
Using quick smoke. But still, even in Blender 5.1, I find the UI difficult and frustrating. Learning curve was high.
Not sure the video will show.
Video showed just fine. The flame looks amazing! I think that would cook my laptop. One of these days (maybe when ram prices drop) I’ll get a faster computer. It’s why I primarily stick with EEVEE rendering instead of Cycles ![]()
That looks fantastic, Pete! The modeling and textures are really well done.
This is sick (and that’s a good thing)! Looks awesome and terrifying. Great job on the vines/tentacles!
We @BlenderCollab have a few days to vote. You can vote fast but also think slowly about design, colors, technique, difficulty, subject, realism, etc. Choose consciously and not on your entry.
The new subject week 15 “Spring has sprung” has already started. The winner of this week’s “In the Dungeon” challenge may select a subject for next week 16 and win a badge.
Thank you.
I spent most of the time learning how to get the Boolean cutters to work for these tanks.
And don’t get me started on the liquid and volumetrics … but learned a lot
^ This one allows to control the fill level and effect of the ‘ooze’.
^ The big ooze tanks
The wet effect took a while too. I think there is room for improvement.
The tentacles have been relatively straight forward. Just extruded lines along the body. Which is from the og blender reference file.
