This is the Blender Collaboration 2026, week 14 challenge. Don’t be afraid to join, a lot of us are beginners. This is all to practice, have fun, learn, and get together.

This week’s subject is “In the Dungeon”.

The rules are simple. 1 subject, 1 entry, 1 week.
You create whatever object or scene or whatever you can think of that has something to do with the subject. It can be as simple or complicated as you want, all entries are welcome!
Post your picture here in this thread. At the end of the week, we start to vote. And if you are the winner, you may choose the next subject and win a unique badge.

Very nice - a bulk of gamedev.tv - courses in one project!

Jupp. Made this ~2 y’s ago.

Haven’t touched blender for over 1.5 y’s sucks. Anyhow, this video still makes me laugh.

And it’s fun to be back to blender.

It doesn’t suck. It’s great! This was a really clever way to combine a number of Grant’s tutorials into one.

What “sucked” that I stopped using blender for +1.5 years.

I still think the video is fun and putting all the assets from @Grant_Abbitt course into a single project, with mixamo animations, was a nice summary project.

Glad you like it.

HA! I interpreted your comment as, “It really sucks.” “I didn’t touch Blender for 1.5 years.” Meaning, you stopped using Blender because you thought your work sucked. Wow, my eyes put punctuation in the wrong places and completely changed the meaning of your comment

tweaked it - should not post stuff between tasks. lol

Let’s see how far I get. This one is rather ambitious…

What are we looking at here? I could use a bit more context. :slightly_smiling_face:

Not chains, but roots. And yes, the rig has issues, but those won’t be visible in the final scene.

WIP Update:

Needs the top tentacles. Then the prison / dungeon stuff.

That’s gonna be creepy af!

I know this challenge is “held by chains and imprisoned in darkness, but I decided to go in a more cozy direction. I’ve got an imprisoned skeleton reading a book in bed or maybe the person simply died in prison reading and just stayed in that pose  .

Now I’m just filling in the dungeon and his little prison with stuff. Just trying to figure out what stuff I’m going to put in there.

I may be calling this done as I’ve got to prep the house for Easter weekend.

This is so nice. Nice take. Love that the room is rounded.

Guess I’ll play some Grim Fandango tonight

Did this fast pencil drawing a few days ago , trying to get better at quick sketching. I was thinking about participating, but plans changed a bit, so not sure if I’ll find time to make a 3D model.

Summary

Also, just for fun, I uploaded my drawing to an AI and asked it to make it clearer.

If, you made this with Blender Grease pencil, you could apply this and an entry … it looks good!

Had the same idea. I use AI to create various ideas or push my thinking
