Hi Everyone! :slight_smile:

My name is Denis, I live in Montreal, Canada like Kevin_Nicolas (nice to meet you Kevin!). I’ve been wanting to learn programming and game development for a long while now and have finally decided to take the plunge. My end goal is to take these skills and use them contribute to the world of VR. Ever since I tried out PS VR and Vive I can’t stop thinking about just how much this is going to change the way we play games and interact with the world and each other. I want to be a part of this revolution. So for any fellow VR nerds, I say “Hi! Let’s geek out over this sometime.” haha And for all the fellow course takers, I am looking forward to being a part of your community!

Hello,

I just grabbed this course while it was on sale and I’m just getting myself set up to get cracking with the course.

I’ve been working in games development for over seven years now in numerous roles but none of them involving code. I am hoping this course will help me to begin to fill in the gaps and help me both in my current employment but also help open doors for the future.

I would be happy to answer any questions about working in the games industry in the hope that it might help other students on this course.

My name is Sampo, I live in Helsinki, Finland. I’m currently 29 years old and I have a bachelors degree in electronics.
I have been a passioned gamer for my whole life but what really kicked me into studying game development was the upcoming VR revolution. We are living exciting times!

I have some background in programming but that is mainly associated with embedded C used in programming micro-controllers or other HW.

My plan is to start with the Unity course and then continue from there.

Hello everyone, my name is Bill. I’ve been programming for awhile and most recently have spent my time doing database programming. I’ve never done any C# or game programming so I’m intrigued and thought I’d try out this course based on the glowing reviews and public intro’s that Ben published.

I’m late on my intro and have just competed the Text Adventure and can’t wait to start the next section!

Computer has been involved in my life and coding, gaming became apart of my personality. I am totally new to Unity and coding using any programming language. I know 3D modelling and am keen to pursue game development. I am a freelance instructional designing, consulting people on development of digital learning programs. I recently started exploring the concept of game-based learning and so thought learning Unity will help me build some interesting learning games. Im Syed Abdul Mujeeb from Pakistan. I work a full time job as an associate and CERA actuary. Gaming is my biggest hobby and my long-term goal in life is to get involved in the gaming industry. I hope this can be the first step in that direction ! This is my first learning any type of coding language although i have done coding in VBA and IBM Algorithmics at my workplace.
