My name is Roel Smeets, I’m a 25 year old Interaction Designer from the Netherlands.
In February 2016 I completed my Master in Industrial Design. After graduating I worked as a UX Designer and Frontend developer before I went on a 5 month trip through the United States.
During that trip I realised that my passion lies with video games and that from that moment on I should use all my creative skills and talents to become a succesful game developer. I’m looking forward to see what everyone creates and hope to share some exciting work of my own very soon.

Hello all,
I’m Dominic, a 35 years-old self-employed Software-Developer from Quebec, Canada. I was employed as a software developer for a bit over 10 years and then made the switch to being self-employed (Now for about 6 years).
I have always been a gamer. In fact games and building games was what first got me interested into programming. Ever since getting into computer science I stayed in close touch to the game development market. I just never really got deep into it.
I am already very fluent in C# having used it as one of my top 3 most used languages of the past 10 years.
I am really interested in the later portions of the course as what I am interested in is the 2D and 3D physics, mathematical formulas required for calculating stuff like collisions, the multiplayer and networking related stuff, the visual presentation as well as how to use art within a game, as well as AI.

Hello, my name is David. I am a 19 year old in the U.S.
I grew up in a family and close friend group of gamers, roleplaying on tabletop or online or even live-action, so making games has always been near the top of the goals I hope to someday accomplish. I got into coding during high school, having taken all but the advanced class for programming, so I am not unfamiliar with the layout and language though there is always more that I could strive to learn outside of the basics of object-oriented programming, JavaScript, or website coding languages like HTML and CSS.

Hi my name is Grant and I’ve been working in software projects for quite a while now and I’ve enjoyed gaming as a pastime too. The course seems really exciting to be building games, working with Blender which I’ve had some experience with (it’s really cool) using a platform such as Unity. I’m interested in getting more exposure to the test driven aspect of software development as part of the course. I’m sure we’ll all have a super time learning here.
