Welcome Everyone!

Hello,

I’m Jade and this is my response to the first challenge.

I’ve just signed up to this course because I am interested in converting NASA and other spacey 3D models for Space Engine. I semi-successfully, converted the James Webb Space Telescope but I don’t know enough about materials and textures. Beyond this simple thing, I’d eventually like to create a machinima series for the organization or guild I am a part of in Star Citizen. I have seen other people do this by importing models into CryEngine and feel I might be able to do this as well if I learn all that I can about 3D design and animation. I’ve played around with Blender in the past but found it daunting and realized I’d probably should take this course. Wish me luck guys. I’m pretty new at this.

Hello,

I’m Michael. I learned Blender many years ago for game development but quit to pursue other projects. I’m now looking to get back into it and relearn Blender.

Hello everyone!

My name is Sandro, I’m a graphic designer with more than 10 years of professional experience and BFA degree in a field. Though, at the same time I’m a visual artist and a big fan of video game industry, especially of indie one, no matter whether it’s 3D or 2D… Changing the occupation and forgetting everything I was working on for so many years, is a difficult process, but I’m preparing myself to completely submerge in making games, work only on my personal projects and bring ideas to life… Never late, right? :sunglasses: I’m going to take multiple courses at Udemy and this one’s gonna be my first. Good luck to everyone!

I started the course a good while back, but some things have changed at Udemy and the community, and I’m reviewing the older material, and then continue on with the beginnings of some of the more advanced topics. I’ve not even used Blender in awhile, so got to get the keys back into my brain! Which everyone well in their endeavors!

I’ve been a casual user of blender and most creative programs for as long as I can remember. I have been playing Second Life for several years. I just completely love the ability to make anything I want come to life inside the game. However, lately I’ve been wanting to make more advanced projects so here I am!

This course was suggested to me by the Builder’s Brewery in SL and came highly recommended. I am really looking forward to this course!

Hello everyone!
My name is Sven. I was inspired by video games since I was 10. My father taught me the basics of programming and my interests were growing. Now I´m 17 and I know that someday I want to work as a game producer. I already made a few games, but I can really extend their quality with blender. I really hope to learn a lot from this course. I´m looking forward to it!
