I decided to go for an attempt at an early jet airplane:

It’s quite simplistic. I’ll probably come back and edit the design later.

That was rather humiliating, tried something too complicated - the only thing intact is the joke itself.
the model is a complete mess, just didn’t think it out, or have the skill to do what I wanted.

It made me laugh at how bad it was thought

Will try the normal block plane instead, and stop trying to jump ahead.

Made a standard model as in the video, but added a subdivision modifier and smoothing to make it look a bit more finished.

Incredibly simple and not very artistic but here’s my go at the primitive airplane model. Some amazing models above!

Blocks plus gratuitous elongated spheres

Does anyone know what the deal is with Edit Mode undo?
I accidentally added a sphere onto a wing in edit mode and instead of a separate mesh it became part of the wing extrusion. I went back into Object Mode and then did undo and it went right back to my initial cube before i’d done any of my edit mode extrusions. Did i lose my edit mode history because i went into object mode? I went into Edit Mode again and tried to undo, but nothing happened after that.

Cheers!

That is literally a masterpiece! Good job on the model.

May I ask how you were able to smoothen the surfaces of the plane?
I tried my best to make the head of the plane but I ended up getting rough spikey sphere.

How did you start creating your plane?
