Periscope done! And I agree; I really think this exercise helped a good deal! Make me feel like I am getting the hang of the UI and object manipulation. Yeah!

I actually wound up building it the first time out of joined vertices; made the first wedge out of the base cube, duplicated it and moved it up, then selected vertices in edit mode between the two wedges and made faces. It made one oddly-colored face on the far side, though. So I went through and tried it again, doing the same first two steps and adding a cube at the end before joining the objects.

I’m fairly certain that the oddly-colored face will come up in later lessons.
