Joining the 8 vertices club.
Well the lesson was in merging vertices and combining shapes. It looks like you could accomplish the same result with one 1 cube and moving the vertices like this shape

Now, I seem to have 13 vertices. Does anybody know what I’ve done wrong?

@Yannis_Volos You may have missed one, maybe make the Merge Distance higher, and then try removing doubles once more?

I also managed to get it down to 8 vertices. I just deleted everything but the top and bottom face, then linked the vertices together with F.

8 verts… for a second i thought that I was clever to bring it down to 8 and most people will have it at 12, but then i came here and my dreams were ruined lol… but nonetheless good job everybody!

Didn’t go the extra mile on removing the four extra vertices(down to twelve), but I did remove the internal faces.

I used lessons from earlier. But before that I selected all and then Removed Doubles first before I deleted vertices and recreated the edges.
