Baking multires

Make sure that the object is set to shading smooth and the multires modifier’s Level viewport is set to 0. In this way the multires baking is working for both the normals and the displacement. Thanks for that. Multires baking did not work a while ago it is relatively new that it can now.

Shading smooth is required with normal baking, so that bit is unsurprising.

[STAFF] I wanted to post this topic for the video: Baking multiresolution objects in the character course here: Baking multiresolution objects | GameDev.tv. But no matter what I try I just cannot add the 07_BA_BCC tag to the conversation, hence it does not appear beneath the video. Will you be so kind to fix this?

With this change, baking multires normals seems to work, but the displacement (at least, on my mesh) is a bit far removed from the cavity map and looks ugly. So, have to use the non-multires version of baking for the cavity map.
