It might be just me but this section of the track confuses the eye. its hard to see which track leads of were and they kind of overlap at this angle. Once texture are applied it might be a non issue but i just thought i’d point it out
To make the rails, I use a collapsed box and extrude the vertex, using snap to grid.
With the rough path outlined, it is converted into a NURBS curve. But then Z-up as Twist-method doesn’t work. And with “Minimum” I have to adjust the tilt manually.
However - despite having this tried before (and maybe broke some settings) - I just converted the box > to curve > to Bezier curve approach again. And Minimum as Twist-method works.
Curves are somewhat tricky in Blender. I don’t like them very much, to be honest, but sometimes there’s no other way.
By the way, in the video, I didn’t use Z-up either.
