Still trying to decide if this is the final version or not, but I’m kinda happy with how it turned out so far.

People on Discord pointed out some mistakes, and I adjusted the composition a bit as well.

Here is my final render for the shoes.

It gives the feeling, a pair of boots projected on a background.
It’s missing shadows on the stone layer?
Maybe correction with Krita, GIMP …

We @BlenderCollab have a few days to vote. You can vote fast but also think slowly about design, colors, technique, difficulty, subject, realism, etc. Choose consciously and not on your entry.
The new subject week 08 “80s-or-90s-tech” has already started. The winner of this week’s “A Pair of shoes” challenge may select a subject for next week 09 and win a badge.

Shoes are such a great topic. @Crisus
I think I’ll work on these a bit more. It’s harder than I thought, and fun.

@Srl1 congratulations on your submission. The composition and the idea of a workbench are well-executed.

Crisus - I think it’s a good idea to present this type of shoe to the public. The overall look is coherent, but it feels as if the shoe and its surroundings are visually separate.
RayMobula - Very nice shape and a good start for a new asset.

Note: I don’t want to offend anyone. I try to write down positive ideas and visions in my simple use of the English language. I am also sometimes more inspired by a particular subject or solution. I’m also learning from you!
