This is the Blender Collaboration 2026, week 9 challenge. Don’t be afraid to join, a lot of us are beginners. This is all to practice, have fun, learn, and get together.
This week’s subject is “A pair of Gloves”.
“A pair of Gloves” - For fashion, work and/or high tech.
The rules are simple. 1 subject, 1 entry, 1 week.
You create whatever object or scene or whatever you can think of that has something to do with the subject. It can be as simple or complicated as you want, all entries are welcome!
Post your picture here in this thread. At the end of the week, we start to vote. And if you are the winner, you may choose the next subject and win a unique badge.
It’s been a very long time since I contributed to the collab. Haven’t had many opportunities to work in Blender. But I’m home with a cold so I decided this was a good time to get back into some Blender action. As soon as I heard gloves, I thought, I gotta try my hand at recreating Freddy Krueger’s glove. So here’s my attempt.
Really great start on that hand sculpt. The fingers are looking really good. The thumb is a bit large at the moment, but perhaps the hand belongs to Tooms (X-Files reference)?
We @BlenderCollab have a few days to vote. You can vote fast but also think slowly about design, colors, technique, difficulty, subject, realism, etc. Choose consciously and not on your entry.
The new subject week 10 “Robotic fauna” has already started. The winner of this week’s “A pair of Gloves” challenge may select a subject for next week 11 and win a badge.
@Crisus , congratulations on your winning entry. The subject is beautifully placed in context, which makes it stand out even more. The strong colors also contribute to this.
mfortunado - Another very nice contribution. It’s atmospheric, but perhaps a little less readable because of that. Perhaps a little glare on the knives…
Note:** I don’t want to offend anyone. I try to write down positive ideas and visions in my simple use of the English language. I am also sometimes more inspired by a particular subject or solution. I’m also learning from you!
