This is the Blender Collaboration 2025, week 26 challenge. Don’t be afraid to join, a lot of us are beginners. This is all to practice, have fun, learn, and get together.
This week’s subject is “Gardening”.
“Gardening” - Gardening is a rewarding activity that lets you grow your own food, beautify your space, and connect with nature. Whether you have a large yard or just a small balcony, you can start gardening with a few basic steps and some simple tools.
The rules are simple. 1 subject, 1 entry, 1 week.
You create whatever object or scene or whatever you can think of that has something to do with the subject. It can be as simple or complicated as you want, all entries are welcome!
Post your picture here in this thread. At the end of the week, we start to vote. And if you are the winner, you may choose the next subject and win a unique badge.
We @BlenderCollab have a few days to vote. You can vote fast but also think slowly about design, colors, technique, difficulty, subject, realism, etc. Choose consciously and not on your entry.
The new subject week 27 “Super Hero” has already started. The winner of this week’s “Gardening” challenge may select a subject for next week 28 and win a badge.
I could not manage to finish my model, but I wanted to share my work in progress because I managed to create the flowers with geometry nodes on my own!! I will keep it and continue working on it
Yes, the model is incomplete. There were a few tools and additional pots and plants planned… if my computer and agenda allow for it, that void will be fixed soon
@Srl1 congratulations on your winning entry for the gardening assignment. It looks colorful with lots of details. And it has a certain design style. It could be a game.
FedPete - It could be improved more … Add an environment, match colors, more distinctive spines.
gallmerci - I like the low-poly design. The pond could be more reflective (blue sky) to add more colors to the scene. Did you use a sun lamp?
Note: I don’t want to offend anyone. I try to write down positive ideas and visions in my simple use of the English language. I am also sometimes more inspired by a particular subject or solution. I’m also learning from you!
