I was unsure if this character could be considered classic and then I realized that this monster counts

The Thing. From the 1938 science fiction horror novella “Who Goes There?” by John W. Campbell.

This is my entry, Frankenstein’s Monster! I put a lot of effort into the texture work for this, and I hope I didn’t wash that work out too much with the fog, but I thought it added a lot to the vibe of the final render

That face looks awesome - like it’s silently judging me

We @BlenderCollab have a few days to vote. You can vote fast but also think slowly about design, colors, technique, difficulty, subject, realism, etc. Choose consciously and not on your entry.
The new subject week 15 “RetroReimagined” has already started. The winner of this week’s “Classic Horror Monsters” challenge may select a subject for next week 16 and win a badge.

@SweetOblivion congratulations on your entry. Mister Frankenstein as a friendly looking gentleman. Neatly dressed with a reference to the Hulk. The mist is a nice addition to the composition.

  • Joey_Cuevas - Great Muppet puppet! Lighting could be improved
  • Srl1 - Model looks good, but it’s difficult to have a viewers visual reference like a Muppet or Frankenstein.

Note: I don’t want to offend anyone. I try to write down positive ideas and visions in my simple use of the English language. I am also sometimes more inspired by a particular subject or solution. I’m also learning from you!

All entries are very good but I miss some darkness, the Horror … maybe in the next subject …

Congrats on the win! Well deserved - the model and textures look amazing. Great work!
