2025 Collab: Week 13 “Daylight saving time”

This is the Blender Collaboration 2025, week 13 challenge. Don’t be afraid to join, a lot of us are beginners. This is all to practice, have fun, learn, and get together.

This week’s subject is “Daylight saving time”.

  • “Daylight saving time” - Daylight saving time, also referred to as daylight saving, daylight savings time, daylight time, or summer time, is the practice of advancing clocks to make better use of the longer daylight available during summer so that darkness falls at a later clock time. The typical implementation of DST is to set clocks forward by one hour in spring or late winter, and to set clocks back by one hour to standard time in the autumn.
  • Subject selected by the previous Week 11, 2025 “ mechanical-automata " winner gallmerci

The rules are simple. 1 subject, 1 entry, 1 week.
You create whatever object or scene or whatever you can think of that has something to do with the subject. It can be as simple or complicated as you want, all entries are welcome!
Post your picture here in this thread. At the end of the week, we start to vote. And if you are the winner, you may choose the next subject and win a unique badge.

Deadline: 2025-03-29T22:55:00Z

Could you provide more information? Apart from the title’s meaning, I don’t get it. I mean, is it the same approach as from the past collab, “Light side dark side”, where we did two sides or this is something different? Some simple example would help.

  • Design crafts or artwork that playfully depict the challenges of adjusting to the time change. This could include clocks with confused faces or a “Lost Hour” sign
  • "It’s National “How Do I Change the Clock on my Microwave” Day!" This joke highlights the frustration of updating all the clocks, especially those that are rarely used.

Got it, thank you. :slightly_smiling_face:

Had to remember how to use Grease Pencil. Drawing with a mouse is kinda tricky!
