2021 Collab: Week 40 “Paint” - CLOSED

This is the Blender collaboration 2021, week 40 challenge. Don’t be afraid to join, a lot of us are beginners. This is all to practice, to have fun, to learn, and get together.

This week’s subject is “Paint”.

• Paint is any pigmented liquid, liquefiable, or solid mastic composition that, after application to a substrate in a thin layer, converts to a solid film. It is most commonly used to protect, color, or provide texture to objects. Paint can be made or purchased in many colors—and in many different types, such as watercolor or synthetic.

The rules are simple. 1 subject, 1 entry, 1 week.
You create whatever object or scene or whatever you can think of that has something to do with the subject. It can be as simple or complicated as you want, all entries are welcome!

@FedPete really cool character, already in the bulldozer szene. Will he tell us a story?

Haha yeah, it got to the point in the evening where I was like any .png of a painted wall will do

As a character study, I created this one. No feet, simple hands (only thumb).
I made it clean as possible so I can reuse it often.
But the armature isn’t 1K. And for the bulldoze scene I needed it.

The bulldozer has two main bones. UP/DOWN arm and rotate bucked.
Which can be handled by the puppet’s two arms.
And I wanted to automate this. The animation of the bulldozer bucket and automatically followed by puppet arm movement. So the hands will follow the handles. To make that happen, I needed IK armature.
But everything costs time.
