Best wife / mother ever!
For me the number one thing is to just get familiar with using Unity.
But if I’d have to choose beyond that then:
- Creating and implementing puzzles and riddle solving.
- Character customization or multiple character choices.
- Vast and compelling areas /worlds.
- Making something in the horror genre.
- Using the triggers for activating different kinds of thing to happen all at once.
- And inventory.
In addition to just making a functioning game, I’m excited to learn about:
- Object and level clipping
- Enemy AI
- Triggering on-screen text
The three things I aim to learn are:
1 Creating a shooter
2 Placing objects
3 Having multiple objectives to complete a level
- I want to implement stats, like strength, intelligence, dexterity, health and mana.
- I want to learn about importing and combining other assets (such as uMMORPG).
- I want to learn how to add ranged combat.
- variety of weapon pickup and collection
- camera cutscene to tell the story.
- add portal mechanic
- Activating/deactivating switches by hitting them;
- Linking switches to different things (moving platforms or lighting elements);
- Different types of camera pans.
Hi!
First, I have to say that I am excited for join and begin this course. There are my three things:
- 3D level design.
- Combat system design.
- A great 3D puzzle system.
My 3 things i’d like to learn are
- Nice environment design
- Shades
- RPG Combat system
My 3 things are :
- Inventory systems
- Interesting level design
- Good following camera and angles
I can’t say I know much about Game Kit? I’ll be interested to see if
1: Similarities to blueprint
2: Bolt as well
3: Generally see where this adventure goes to.
Extra. It’s great to see the way others arrange the code and components. Great for learning in general.
The top three for me includes
- Dialogue between characters, NPCs
- A system to collect artifacts with a unique story to each one.
- More attack types and variety of weapons.
Hi Rick and fellow students,
My three things that I want to learn are:
- Implementing my own 3D Assets
- Designing great levels that look and play well.
- Increasing the number of pickups
Looking forward to learning loads.
- Puzzle design
- Physics
- Good level design
- Learn how to custom things (like the character, for example)
- Learn how to create environment.
- Build a Dungeon
I’m here to learn 3DGameKit as a method for quick prototyping and such.
That being said, 3 things I think would be cool to learn (if possible with the 3DGameKit):
- Portal Gun
- Systemic Environments (thinking like Breath of the Wild or Just Cause series)
- Fortnite’s Building System
Maybe too-high level for this course, but when it’s 3D gaming, it’s this kind of stuff that gets me excited.
I’m most excited for
- Beautiful Animations
- Engaging Enemies and Combat
- Dialogue options.
I am in love with this Game Kit and the potential.
Ambitious! Mess around with the game kit and see if you can make it happen!
I would love to see how you implemented more attack types and weapons.
