Hello everyone! My name is Philip Aledia and I am currently working as a web developer in Carlsbad, CA. I have always been a gamer and have recently desired to learn how to develop games. I understand that playing games and developing them are completely different things but I am up for the challenge. I can’t wait to make new friends through this common interest and hope that we can all help each other!

Cheers.

Hello everyone,

My name is Bradley and I am located in Denver, CO in the US. Currently I am an IT Engineer at a startup company and wish to expand my portfolio to include developing. I’ve done a bit of programming in the past but nothing extensive and building a game is fun enough that I will have the nudge to go full bore with it. Started this course as well as the C++ one.

Let’s go build some cool stuff!

Hello Everyone!
My name is Henk van der Duim, and I’m from the Netherlands.

I’m 51 (husband and dad of 2 lovely daughters) and I have some experience with programming, although most of it dates back to the 80’s and 90’s of last century. I have a degree in business science, wrote a few books, owned a music label and an online marketing firm. Last job was COO for an investment firm.

I’m new to developing games, although I like to play them.

I started of as a session musician, an artist. My mother would say I’m in between proper jobs…

Currently I’m in between jobs

Following a few courses that catch up with programming and security.

Nice to meet you.

Hello all!

I am currently employed at a proprietary trading firm in Chicago, IL. I enjoy gaming on PC and PS4 and try to do this when I have the time. I am recently married in June and also purchased our first home in April! I started taking a few python classes and then stumbled upon the deal on this course. Since our company mainly uses C# to code trading applications I figured the knowledge could help, and its through video games?

Count me in!

Hello, everyone!

I’m a web developer that enjoys game development as a hobby. I’ve been wanting to dive into Unity for sometime and saw that this course was on sale on Udemy. I’m excited to get started!

Hello

My name is Łukasz, and I’m a young Polish student.

I’m 19 and currently studying in Warmian and Mazurian University of Olsztyn I’m studying building engineering, but i like coding, and playing video games, and i wanna learn how to make games. I tried to make one text based game in C++, but didn’t have the knowledge required to do this.

So far the course is great, and today it was only 13 $ so i thought this was a great opportunity do learn something new. I went through 31 lectures and coded the two first games in one go

Best regards,

Łukasz Szymański

I’m from Quebec, Canada and I study at Laval University.

Hey everyone.
My name is Nixon. I took some Java and C++ in highschool and i liked everything that i learned. I decided to major in computer science since ive been tinkering with hardware and software for 9 years now. But because my family consists of a single mother, I was forced to help out with the bills and had to get a job.I’m going part time to school but have been actively learning java from codecademy to keep everything fresh but its hard to find the time with a full time job.
My dream is to get a job with computers so I could have the time to be around the family more often and work with what i love doing.
Hope everyone has a good time.

Hey, James here,
So I’m 21, in the US Navy, and looking to start my studying for game design before I get out of the service. That’s pretty much it; hope going out to sea every now and again wont hamper the learning process too much. If it does, it was only $13 and ill get whatever i can out of it, Thanks.

Glad to meet you all and l look forward to the course.
