Welcome Everyone!

Hello everyone, my names Kalani. I’m currently pursuing a B.S. in computer science with the intention of creating an indie game development studio. In order to maximize my personal potential, I believe I should have a decent understanding of all assets that go into game development besides programming which is what brings me here. Good luck to all of you and your aspirations.

Hi, I’m Nas. My dream is to make short cartoon and be a 3d model builder. I want to be one whom work in 3d industry.

Sup. Im Paolo and my goals are to create a sweet animation for school.

Hello, I’m Felipe. My goals are learning for 3D Animation. Nice meeting you!

Likewise! Good luck to you on your journey!

Hi All,

I’m just starting the udemy course. I’ve had a few years experience with blender, but it has been quite a while since I’ve touch the software, and am looking forward to seeing what I can learn.

I’m hoping to learn enough to create assets for a small 3D game that I would like to design in Unity (I’m also taking the Unity course with Ben).

Looking forward to learning with you all!

Thomas

Hi, guys! Jose from Spain here. First time user of Blender but I’m really excited to learn about it and start creating.

Hello,

My name is Kevin. I am taking this course for fun because I would like to look at using 3D models for physics/scientific research. I would like to see about how to create objects with blender and see if I can output them into some usable format and run Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on them. If this is not possible it is not a loss because at least I will be able to build things for other projects.

hi! my name is Martina and actually I’m on section 1 lecture 5. I hope that this course help me to create my first 3d model. i hope i’ll be able one day to create my short animation movie…maybe for Pixar

Hi All! I am interested in making assets for Second Life and DAZ Studio. I go by Ansel Artful on Second Life, so that’s the handle I am using here as well. I have some experience with Blender, but have been inactive for a while, so I am looking forward to this course as both a refresher and to advance my skills further.

Hello, everyone! I’m an engineer who is interested in making 3-D models that I can then render (using external files to provide ephemeris and attitude data). My focus is on visualizing missile launches from Earth to orbit, so I’m looking for high-precision capabilities in a modeling and rendering tool. I’ve looked at and used other tools but thought I’d also give Blender a go.

Hello people,

My name is Thanos, I graduated from an art&design private school last year and moved to London immediately after.

I’m hoping to start as Junior Animator/3d artist as soon as possible, and since I’ve worked only on 3ds Max, this class will give me a boosting start in Blender as well as help me get back into action. I’ve not touched any 3d animation related project after I graduated (lazy).

Nice to meet you all, as of this day 29th December 2016 I’m starting the course.

Hi everyone, my name is Jonny and I’m from Belfast. I’m a software developer by day and I just recently started exploring the world of game dev with Unity. I’d like to learn Blender so I can create assets for games and to help increase my skills as a developer. Looking forward to getting stuck in!

Hi, I’m Sara and I’m from Spain. I’m a Web Application Developer and I want to switch to game development, as it has always been my dream. I’m also enrolled in the UE4 course which I am really enjoying (and because of it C++ is my favourite programming language now). I bought the Blender course in Udemy aswell so that I can bring my first project to life, a Horror game. You can find me on skype: sara.pa96

Hi Everyone,

Purchased this course over the holiday sale in hopes to brush up on my overall knowledge of 3D work. I’m not employed as an artist, but I work closely with 3D artists and I’d like to know a little more about the way the 3D assets are made.

Hi,

My name is Bashar, I’m a developer from Kuwait, getting into game development. I’m also running the game development portfolio site http://skirmish.io. I’m not really an artist, but I love experimenting and seeing what new skills I can collect. I also like to get an understanding on how different parts of a game work. I’m the guy who loves to watch behind the scenes material, and this puts me into the chair in a way.

I hope to be able to develop some basic skill to be able to use it, and get better at understanding the task and challengers, which would help when working with other 3D artists.

Hi Michael, Ben and all the other students on this board.
I’m a total beginner in the 3d and games area, but have always had an interest in getting involved.

Somehow I’ve never really had the time, but now that I’m finally having some free time, I’m getting started!
I’m a software analyst-developer for quite some time now, and if I can acquire the skill-set in 3d and gaming development I’d like to start creating some long-term projects in the years to come.

For now I’ll just enjoy learning something totally new, playing around with 3d creation, and later on integrating those skills in Unity/Unreal game development.

First I’d like to create some ideas I have, and if possible a career switch in the middle-long future. Let’s see how far this path takes me.

Hello everybody. My name is Jules. I am an interior designer. I am looking forward to using Blender to modeling great scenes.

Hi everyone. My name is Wayne, and I live in the UK. I’ve worked as a software engineer for nearly 30 years, mostly in the financial sector, but have maintained a ‘hobby’ interest in game development, AI and 3D graphics for the duration of my career. My goal in 2017 is to create a working prototype of a basic multiplayer RPG, for fun rather than profit. Looking forward to learning Blender with you all.

Hello everyone. My name is Sara. I wanted to take this course because I need some 3D object for “Thief” fanmision I am making. I’ve been toying with the idea of becoming a game developer for quite some time, but I always felt a bit intimidated. Now I enrolled to this course and a couple of others and we’ll see how it goes
