Weight Paint ... Man dont turn Pink

It sounds like you’re referring to the overlay for non-deforming bones, which shows that weight paint doesn’t apply to those bones. There was a topic about this issue some time ago; read through this:

Both Target bones seem to have relationship to the mesh

Like in the lesson the controller bones should appear to have purple weght on the mesh, but its not the same for my target bones in the leg. they both had the deform option disabled before the mesh was parented to the armature [qd3.PNG] [dqd3d.PNG] [1e2e2e.PNG] [wffq1.PNG] [d3d]
