"Wait for my friend to join" (14:30) seems like an odd thing to skip

How does a friend join the game?

When both people have the game in steam I don’t see an “invite to game” option anywhere or anything like that.

Hello Stephen! You first have to have one of the players sitting in the Host Lobby menu. Afterwards, you should be able to right click on your friend, through Steam, and the Join Game option should be available.
