Two Versions

Version 1 (modules and one house; a rendering issue on roof textures, but I figured out it was because I had “use instancer” checked on the tex coordinates node…I guess that’s not a good idea.):

Version 2 (went through it all again, different methods for some things, also wall modules are 3x3 exactly. Haven’t built the houses yet. I notice dark spots on the roofs…might be a normals issue)

And finally, three houses.

this houses look very good :+1:
i dont see the spots you mentioned. but i see the rendering issues at the first houses. my Oger also got some of this. but i dont know how to fix this…

you did a great job!

In my case, the roof material Texture Coordinate node had “From Instancer” checked. Unchecking it allowed the roofs to render.

I recommend looking at the material nodes and seeing if anything is out of line. Having an explicit “texture coordinate” (according to something I googled) node for UV helps. Cycles seems to give up and not render a texture if it is not connected up exactly the way it expects.

Here is my roof material, the texture coordinate node all the way to the left.
