I had this issue where the triggering of the cinematic still worked (could not move), but the camera didn’t switch to the other ones. After a bit of searching, I noticed that within the timeline, you have to manually re-set the “Cinemachine Brain” component. It probably could not be found as I deleted it from the scene to add it to the “Core” prefab. After dragging the new Cinemachine Brain into the corresponding field everything worked again.

Thanks for this tip. Unfortunately, Cinemachine made some changes after these lessons were recorded. I’m working on getting Rick to re-record the Cinemachine section to work with the changes.
thanks bud!
I had the same problem and couldn’t figure out what had become disconnected. thanks for sharing
Thanks!
Thanks so much! I can’t believe Unity didn’t so much as throw a warning.
Meanwhile my console is littered with all kinds of other useless warnings about should not capturing hot mics and a warning telling me that Visual Effect Graphs are supported.
