When you join the game session and you get the messages but not go to the game world. Check your log.
My DefaultPlatformService is NULL in the defaultEngine.ini however I was also running the steam client on my computer.

When you have your steam client running, the game connects with steam also when you have your DefaultPlatformService set to NULL

Just close your steam client and it works.

You could also append -NOSTEAM to the end of the .bat file as well to just use NULL

I just realized it was also picking up two sessions for me, one of which was printing as session name “None”. Good callout!
