The same issue of Text

it’s showing under Quad and because of being UI element makes impossible to move Z coordinate.
Also I saw some answers here but could not find out what to do.

I’d suggest to do the following: Create a Canvas game object for your buttons. Then use Image components instead of SpriteRender and Quad, and Text or TextMeshPro components.

The colour can be changed directly in the Image component. There is also an alpha channel for transparency.
