Last week was my first time participating in the weekly challenge and this week i get to choose the topic, i feel both excited and nervous about it. xD
So for this week i decided we should model pengus(penguins) as they are such weird, mysterious and fascinating creatures.
For the style: cartoony, realistic, low poly, high poly, combination of everything, anything goes.
We’ll have a Miss Pengu Contest so be sure to accessorize your pengu in any way to make it stand out. And also add your pengu’s name, place they represent and answer to this question: "If you were to chose between waddle and woddle which would it be and why?"
I think it’s a fun topic and can’t wait to see the submissions.

Awesome! I just woke up from a nap when I made my other post so I didn’t even see this. I got a rough model for my penguin so far though.
I’m surprised I didn’t make one yet but I haven’t focused that much on cold type animals yet for my assets.

This Penguin is hungry and inviting you to dinner for some grapes, meat, and plum cider in his little snow cavern.
(( I tried a few things for the materials to test out some things, so they may not appear uniform. ))

I was having issues deciding where to put his white feathers, but I thought that looked best. I actually have little bones in his feet that I hope animate well later whenever I get to that to finish him as an asset.

That sounds fantastic… would love to see the little chap moving! Do share if you do, you can embed SketchFab URLs in to your posts so we will all be able to spin him around and zoom in and out!

I uploaded a slime of mine since I already had an FBX of that with animations, so I’ll post that in showcase in another thread for you to see.
