I don’t understand how to create a scene for testing when wanting to experiment with mechanics. in order for me to test i need to build and have 2 instances running to play. this is very inconvenient, is there a work around?
To test the multiplayer functionality you are going to need two instances of the game. The easiest way to test this, is with a build. I suggest turning off “auto generate lighting” in the lighting tab, this will help the editor build the game faster. Since the game is small it should build very quickly.
To test some local functionality, you could create a computer player or some dummy objects, but this might take more time in the long run. For example, a dummy building to test unit firing.
