Hello everyone,
I have been making my way through all of the tutorials and have learned an incredible amount thus far, however I am unsure of where I should take it now.
I wanted to ask if anyone could explain the positives and negatives of using Steamworks vs Epic’s own Online services. After doing a bit of research it seems that it would be best to use Epic’s integrated services, but I am unsure. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I can’t talk from experience as I haven’t played with the new Epic services. They weren’t around at the time of creating the course. I think if the course were made today, we would probably be using them.
I completely understand. I will follow along with the steamworks integration on one branch and, after completing it, attempt to do epic online services integration on another.
