Hi, i just cant get working steam OSS… I filled defaultengine.ini, enabled plugin, added OSS to build.cs but unreal cannot find steam oss…
I downloaded and tried sammuel’s project too but it doesnt working… Here’s log from Sam’s project on my PC (im getting ± same log on my project):
After some investigation i think the problem is in using dual account on PC (admin and user account)…
I can launch game only as admin otherwise user account won’t create “steam_appid.txt” file on my PC and game crash before start… Any tips how to solve this circle of misery?
FINALLY SOLVED !
It was definitely problem with user/admin compatibility.
I was on my user accout but i ran unreal+commander+powershell+steam as admin and it wasn’t enough.
After some deep and long investigation, i just set admin privilegies from admin to user account and its working now.
