SourceTree doesn't do what it's trying to do

I’m trying to install SourceTree. It might already be installed. (Install is checked off.)
It says Registration and gives me a choice: Bitbucket Server or Bitbucket.

Bitbucket opens a webpage and tells me Authentication Successful and tells me to close the page.
Bitbucket Server wants a Root URL and my username.

I just want to learn C#. What do I do?

I cant supply support for git or source tree as to be honest i dont know enough about the ins and outs of it (This is why we have a git for games course )

I did write a setup guide for local repos but it may have changed over time

Local? How?

Sourcetree on Windows is pretty different in setup. I couldn’t figure out how to create a local git repository. There didnt seem to be any options for that. I ended up using a github account and uploading files to there.

Hi Jim,

Click on Bitbucket. Then follow the instruction. You need an Atlassian account to be able to use Sourcetree.

I assume you are in the Unity 3D course, aren’t you? If you are not interested in Git at all, you could skip the videos on Git.
