I decided to go opposite of sci-fi.
And then got lazy with the Exit button.
I’m a tad late to the party, but here it is!
The background is just a placeholder until my sister finishes her sketch of a destroyed city surrounded by an evergreen forest. I’m a little conscious about the difficulty of reading the words, especially the title, against the background.
It’s not really visible on just a picture, but I added a sort of illumination effect to the font material of the title. I used a hexagonal alpha mask to direct the illumination down specific “paths”, a generated offset bands node to create a sort of pulsing movement, and a simple grass wind node to create an illusion of randomness to the movement.
I’ve just finished this too. I made some extensions to the game earlier. For instance making the trigger platforms and the active moving platform highlighted in red when activated. This in itself wasn’t hard but making it replicate correctly wasn’t trivial!
That looks fantastic
