Section 3: Lecture 59. Game Freezing

@sampattuzzi: During this lesson you note that the game can sometime freeze up (you note it at 12:10).

Just a friendly FYI: The reason the game freezes is because in the Power-shell window (where the Game logs are showing) you have selected one or move characters. You left clicked the window selecting an area, in this case a single character.

Selecting an area puts the window into ‘copy’ mode, pausing the executing thread to prevent more logs being printed, and this causing the window to scroll. Enabling you to either select more characters or “Copy” them before resuming the thread. You can resume the thread by right clicking anywhere within the window, ctrl-c (as you do in the video) or even pressing the enter key.

What ever you have highlighted at the time is moved into the clipboard so you can paste it into another application if you do desire.

Hitting the ‘ESC’ key, deselects the characters and resumes the thread but does not move the selected text into the clipboard buffer.
