Problem in Z axis

If i set the z axis for the location 1.9 is not aligned.

whats wrong?

Hey Fabrizio,

The issue is with your origin point of the pin. It is that blue dot near the neck of the pin. Setting your Z-axis location to 1.9 will not give you the results you want because that is not equal to the grid units needed to make it flush with the floor.

What you’ll want to do is change the Origin to the bottom of the pin to more accurately place it flush on the floor.

Enter Edit Mode, Select the most bottom Face (or set of faces) that is flat, press SHIFT+S, Choose Cursor to Selected, Exit Edit Mode, and Set Origin to 3D Cursor while the Pin is still selected.

Then a Z-axis location of 0 will set it flat on the grid floor.

You’ll have to return the Origin point to another location later if using physics or something, but if you leave it at the bottom for now while you work, it will be much easier to relocate things.

Hope that helps~
