Planets! using Blender Material (shader) Nodes

Planets! Some came from (modifications of) free tutorials at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsGl9GczcgBs6TtApKKK-L_0Nm6fovNPk while others I made from scratch (using knowledge from the Blender Material Nodes course).

In order, they are: moonlike, water world, cloud world (venuslike), generic rocky planet, ice world (like Europa), Jovian World, Lava Planet (like Io), Marslike, Mercurylike, Jovian world with rings (Saturnlike).

Edit: forgot to add the Earthlike (water world was close, though). Added.

They look great.

How did you add the rings? Are they procedurally created, or regular objects?

The rings are just a disk with a hole in it. Alpha makes the gaps. A gradient texture fed into a Voronoi texture makes all the circles. Ryan King explains it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxS_4tpKOa4&list=PLsGl9GczcgBs6TtApKKK-L_0Nm6fovNPk&index=13
