Periscope Challenge

[MERGE QUESTION] I have added 1 wedges to replicate “Mirror” inside.
How do I merge the vertices at the bottom? Somehow I’m unable to select vertices of both wedges.

Not sure if I can reduce any vertex here

Do you have both wedges as part of 1 object, or do you have multiple objects? Select both objects in ‘Object mode’ and click on ‘Join’ of use the ctrl-J shortcut.

looking good took me a few attempts as couldnt work out the rotation correctly on the y axis, but got there in the end.

Front ortho view, Select Default cube, Move 1 unit up to z (Gz1+left click to apply), Duplicate, Move 2 units up to z (Gz2 +lmb), Duplicate again, Move 2 units up to z.
Delete verices to make wedge shape, Join the 3 objects.
