Have I missed something? While everything works the same as Rick’s does, should my Waypoints under Path (0) in the Hierarchy match those of Path (1), or are these Waypoints somehow redundant?

It’s completely up to you how you arrange your waypoints. Of course, it does not make much sense to simply duplicate Path (0) but it would not be wrong if you did that.
