Paragon movement 5.4 broken

Hey, I would like to re-open this thread: WASD not working
I’m using Unreal 5.4 and imported the Paragon Character Murdock into my project. The movement actions are still broken and the described events to fix it are not available anymore.

When I search for “Input Axis Move” to make my character move, there are no hits.

Then I tried to use the EnhancedInputAction IA_Move, but the character stands still. Can you help me to make the character move in Unreal 5.4?

They should just work exactly as is. The easy way to get them working is to apply the mesh to a third person character.

Replacing the mesh in the default, working player is actually working. But it make the animation look a little, incorrect. But well, this already brought me a little further, thank you :slight_smile:

I would not flag this as the solution, because it’s more like a workaround.

I think there are a few more things to do including changing some half height settings. It does depend on the asset and I know this is covered in the action combat course.
