I’m at the NaveMesh lecture now, so I’m “back posting” after adding trees, grass and fog and lens flares (not visible in this screenshot), and the water table. The FPS currently starts where the “move” widget is, and the clearing for the chopper is that circular area to the left. The terrain is a bit of a maze, so someone without a map has a 50-50 chance of going the long way around and dealing with some bad slopes. I left his jumping ability in, though, so it’s doable. As a result, I will need to somehow ensure never going over the edge of the world, say with invisible collision boxes.

Looks really good though, the heavy vegetation and mixture of trees give it a forest / jungle look.
wow! that’s awesome! that thick vegetation gives it a really solid look! plus I love that it’s basically one large lake! I didn’t even think to do that… the minimal land area will also make for much more “close quarters” zombie interactions! great job!
