Hi everyone!
I’m still pretty new to Blender, but I’ve been learning a lot and wanted to share my first bigger scene: a windmill standing on a grassy field during sunset. I focused on creating a warm atmosphere and kept everything in a low-poly style.
I’d really appreciate any feedback or tips from you!
My feedback would be look at real windmills. References and research!
My instant feeling is the sails are small. Then research the subject as yours only works when the wind blows in the right direction! Even how roof shingles are laid/work to keep the rain out.
Hey, thank you so much for your feedback. I think you are absolutely right, the sails are way to small. Actually i didnt look at any refrences, just started doing what i like to do. I will definitly check out many refrences before i start my next scene. Wish you a nice weekend!
Thank you so much! Actually I like the colourfull lights in the scene, blender is just such an awesome program. Thanks for the props! Yeah NP5 is 100% right. Now i got the new topic for the weekly challenge, i will give it a try! Have a nice day
You are very welcome and I completely agree with you, this community is one the best I look forward to seeing your future work my friend. All the very best and have a brilliant weekend!
