mainThrust and Time.deltaTime?

Why ist mainThrust not multiplied by Time.deltaTime?

It would still work if you multiplied it by Time.deltaTime as well. When i looked up the meaning of Time.deltaTime initially, and i could be wrong about the meaning because i am still pretty new to this myself but you would be changing the thrust to move meters per second instead of frames per second.

In a later section, they add Time.deltaTime. But then you have to decrease the parameter for main Thrust from 50 to about 700 oder 800 …

came here to ask this myself. so thanks for asking for me!

I thought the purpose for using Time.deltaTime is so that the speed of the rocket can move independent of the amount of frames-per-second your computer can compute. So independent of if you have a fast computer or a slow computer, the velocity of the rocket will become the same. Time.deltaTime makes it a matter of keystrokes instead of computer power…Or I could be wrong:-) !!
