Loop Pose instead of deleting keyframes

As a game developer, I am always happy to learn new things. Such as removing the keyframes keyframes for the animations transform.position.z from an animation.

However a non-destructive method would be to select the animations fbx file to display the import settings in the Inspector. Then select the Animation tab, scroll down and tick “Loop Time” and “Loop Pose”. While you are in there, you can rename the animation from “mixamo.com” to something more sensible like “Running”. Now just click Apply, then select the animation within the fbx in the project tab and duplicate it.

Someone had commented on this a few weeks back but the topic has been closed without elaborating on this method.

I tend to prefer working directly with the fbx import dialogue as well.
