I found locking the camera to view makes things a lot easier for me to manage camera animation.

Nice tip there, Robert.
I find the camera in programs like Blender and Unreal to be annoying at times. They work very well, but at the same time, they cause irritation when they aren’t be friendly with where your mind/eyes are working.
The option to rotate around the selected object is nice. I can’t remember if that came up before or after this. But sometimes when nothing is selected, it throws me off when trying to move/rotate.
Hopefully others make use of your method if they have issues with the camera.
