Introduction to importing characters and character animation in Unity?

Hi,

I’m looking for an introduction to importing Blender 3D characters and character animations into a game engine. Are there any courses here that include this?

I am really enjoying Grant Abbitt’s Blender Animation & Rigging and want to take what I have learned into Unity.

I know there is a bit to cover here including compatible rigs, creating and exporting animations to Unity, importing and setting up character controllers and animations in Unity : )

I had a look at Unity Turn Based Strategy by Hugo Cardoso (Code Monkey) but can’t see if it goes over these essentials.

EDIT:

I want to learn this so I can showcase character designs moving around simple environments

I changed the title from “in Unity” to “in a game engine” because of some tutorials I found, namely in Godot.

I found most of what I as looking for in a tutorial by DevLogLogan that includes making and animating a character in Blender here -
Third Person Character from Scratch

Then found the basics of character movement in a tutorial by Bramwell Williams here -
Your first 3D Platformer in Godot 4

and GDQuest here -
Smooth 3D Movement in Godot 4

Looks like I might be trying this in Godot first
