Introduce Yourself Here

Hi boys and girls!

I am Juan Manuel, from Spain, and I love games!

I studied architecture in my youth, but for the last years I have develope my career around videogames. I worked as producer, game designer and 3D artist for some mobile games like Real Madrid Legends, and Playstation games like Dogchild or Moerakis

I always thought that I needed to know a little about programing so I can develop my own games, so here I am. I started the Ben’s Unity course, but I am still pretty new to all the coding thing.

You can see some of my work on my online portfolio.

Hope we can make a great game together. I am eager to start the course and meet you all.

See you!

Hi everyone!

My name is Marty, and I’m from Springfield, IL. I work as a Structural Engineer, but I hope to someday start a career as a game developer.

I’ve been working through several of Ben’s courses over the last couple years, but I’ve enjoyed and made the most progress in the Unity course. I’ve always wanted to strike it out on my own making my own game, but I never really knew where to start. I’m hoping this course will be the motivation I need!

Hi all I’m Geoff.

I’m game design student form Australia :australia: (Yes I’m getting my degree in game design). And Ben’s courses have helped a lot in my programming subjects (just did my last exam for the 2016 trimester 3 today). I can’t wait to get some extra practice in the game design side of things that the RPG course I hope will offer. I hope that I can use some of the principles in my upcoming advanced game design unit starting in a couple of weeks :sunglasses:

Also I’m thinking about building my RPG in a steam punk setting, as this can lend it self to a bit fa nasty and a bit of sci fi. Probably incorporate some anime style.

Hello Everyone,

My name is Jim Davis, currently 57, and I was an electronic technician for most of my life and an IT specialist for the last 10 years. I’ve programmed in PHP, VisualBasic, Javascript, C, C++, and C#, of which is probably my stronger language. I have both my Security+ and Microsoft certifications and working towards my Unity Cert.

I spent most of last year completing 2 of Ben’s courses as well as 9 other Unity courses on Udemy. I have found that learning though a course is completely different than staring something of your own. It’s almost like a writer staring at a blank page…

I’m currently turning a program I wrote in 2013 in C# into a Unity program and adding sound effect and animations to it. It’s been a learning experience to say the least.

I’m not a great programmer and have a LOT to learn, but I can usually muddle through and get the job done. I’m looking forward to the new RPG course and will attempt to take each new lesson and do something with it on my own. I found it’s the only way for me to understand and remember it.

Hope to get to know some of you….
