Human anatomy Opens source model

Blender file to download.

A bit odd, but might be a useful reference.

Great finding!

Looking at the veins and all I can imagine is 1) A lot of curves with bevel geometry or 2) an extracted vertex with skin and subdivision modifiers.
It’s really incredible though.

Seems all triangulated, the bit of looking at it I did. I am guessing they simplified the meshes after making it all. I would be temped to use parts as a thing to copy the shapes, positions etc. from. It is all anatomically correct.

in the older Blender version, there was an addon for a high-resolution Human body.

Ok, loaded this model, which nearly crashed my system.
15GB of memory used (I’ve 16GB). Once loaded, no problems in rotation and or zooming in on the model.
I didn’t dare to explore more, resulting in a crash.

Did you get the add on or something they wanted you to use with it? I avoided that. Yes fairly heavy. But very detailed.

I didn’t run extra python scripts, I find that dangerous.
In the notes, they say they reduced the vertices, that’s why all the triangles.
I kept the model, you never know when you need a part from it.

Yes, I did the same I found I can append bones to a new file, and they could then be modeled over as a template was my thinking.
I was wary of code like stuff it being a black box thing to me. Odds are it’s perfectly fine but best to wait for wider adoption to have the competent look over it. lol.

This look like something Ive been looking for in web. Plenty screenshots and some detailed ilustration here and there but nothing was as detailed as this.
Just the thing for character modelling refference.
Cant wait to play with it.

Good this.
Fine detailed mussle structure to build good edge flow on. However topology is not a fine example to be followed. Am I right?
My main focus is on head modelling.
