Hello from Sacramento

Hey all, I’m James and I am joining you during a break from the Unity Complete Developer courses (currently on version 2 course right now).

During the day I an aircraft mechanic, electrical technician and aviator for the US Coast Guard. At night I am generally doing something nerdy.

I am looking to brush up on some blender skills so I can create some fantastic assets for my project (an expansion on the Rocket Booster lecture).
If you are curious about that project I have a dedicated Gamedev post about it. Newest content at bottom of course. I am looking to replace that ugly Unity primitive ship with one created in Blender, and have high aspirations of a mini intro cinematic!

I hope to WOW everyone, but from looking at previous students work, its going to be a tough challenge!

Hey there fellow aspiring gamedev! Yeah being able to make your own assets is a really attractive goal. Don’t worry too much about the quality of other people’s work, it’s all practise. You’ll get there!
