I see a horse covering, thing, must be a name for them, lol.
How did you make it fit? I assume its a selection of the horse body vertices separated and scaled up a fraction? Then presumably the edge manipulated smooth.
Or that ‘shrink to fit thing’, I have never tried, yet.

Ever better. :grinning:

Yeah, that cover is made of a separate mesh. As you guessed, with the „shrink-wrap-method“
There is also a nice blender Intern add-on, called b-surfaces, which is usually used for retopology. If you want to know more details about how I approached the cover of the horse, I’d be happy to tell you

Yes please that would be handy. I am making a pack mule and it will need a blanket on its back.

I made the stuffed cushion thing by extruding selected mule faces out. Its worked but took lots of fiddling. Not happy with it yet, big problem is finding reference, that one matches one photo, but I think it’s not typical. Guess everyone did packing them differently. (I want peninsular war early 1800s era.)

Wow now the rest of the scene is lacking compared to the pieces

But easily fixable

Yes, still a long way to go, but as a personal project, there’s sadly less time to work on it :frowning:
