Game freezing because of the terminal on windows

I already know the answer to the question.

When you select text in a windows terminal, all processes related to it is paused until the selection ends. So you have to right click on it or press Escape key to cancel the selection and let the process continue with its tasks.

You can use these solutions and all of them should work:

  • Press Escape key while in the terminal window
  • Right click on the terminal
  • Disable the quick edit mode of the terminal as showed here
