Hi Rick,
In this lecture you flip the prefab by scaling it with a factor of -1 on the x-axis, but an alternative approach would be to flip the sprite renderer instead. This way the child object isn’t flipped as well.

This is what I did, seems to have worked well.
This may help me to think about it the next time I need to flip something, good stuff.
